Wendy brings over 20 years of leadership and team building experience to PENN Entertainment. She is a passionate and enthusiastic leader with a track record of success.

She started her career in 1994 with Harrah's and spent 12 years in various markets, working her way through the organization in hotel operations, marketing and gaming operations, eventually becoming an AGM at Caesars Atlantic City. Wendy then left Harrah's to become GM and manage the opening of PARX Casino in the Philadelphia suburbs.

After a successful opening and three year run, Wendy opened the Sugarhouse Casino in Philadelphia. During her eight years at Philadelphia's first downtown casino, the property received annual Best Places To Work awards, and Wendy became an impact player in the city, serving on several prominent civic and nonprofit association boards. In 2018, she was awarded the Paradigm Award from the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the city's most prestigious annual recognition for a woman in business. For the past year, Wendy has been the Chief Guest Experience Officer at the Philadelphia Zoo.

Prior to starting her career, Wendy earned a BS in Biology from Duke University, and an MBA in finance from St. Joseph's University.
