Frosting Featuring Gina Glockson

FROSTING is the sonic vision of Mark “SPIV” Grzelak, a lifelong Chicago rock-and-roll native.  Proud of his history with bands like Simple Simon, Blackmaker, and Javelinas, SPIV set out to create something boldly different.  Drawing inspiration from a modern, Fleetwood Mac-esque songwriting approach infused with more grit, fresh musicianship, and a commanding female vocal presence, FROSTING was born.

The band’s first two releases, Fresh Frosting and Frosting II, arrived with force, immediately establishing FROSTING as a band to watch.  Packed with infectious hooks, soaring vocal melodies, and deeply rooted, guitar-driven rock-and-roll, the records laid a powerful creative foundation.
