1. Management’s decision is final.

2. Participants must be at least 21 years of age.

3. Verbal abuse, disruptive behavior, or vulgarity will not be tolerated.

4. The official language in the Poker Room is English. Conversation in any language other than English is forbidden. The house makes all decisions on opening a table and the limit of the game.

5. Check and raise are permitted.

6. Straddles are allowed.

7. Hands not reaching a $10 minimum will not be eligible for any jackpots or promotions.

8. String raises or bets are not allowed.

9. The Poker Room does not have a betting line but relies on “forward motion” to determine if a player has made a bet.

10. Players who have called in to reserve a seat must check in with a Poker Room employee when they arrive or risk losing their place in line.

11. Rabbit hunting is not allowed.

12. HCT Poker Room has the sole right to control seating at any time. Table change requests must be made through a supervisor or Poker Host.

13. A hand shuffle or wash cannot be requested by a player at any time.

14. All games are table stakes. All chips must remain on the table, in play, and visible to the dealer and all other players until the player leaves the game. All high denomination chips must be on top or in front of a player’s stack, visible by all.

15. Players must stack chips in a reasonable manner, meaning all players should be able to get a visual estimate of how many chips one has in his or her stack.

16. When cashing out, a player may not return to any table of the same game and limit for 2 hours unless that player buys in for the total amount removed or the minimum buy-in, whichever is greater.

17. Show one player, show all players. If a player shows one or both of his cards to another player at the table, the player must show their cards to everyone at the table if asked.

18. No playing over shall be allowed. No player will be allowed to play their own money in a seat currently held by another player who is away from the table.

19. Use of small electronics at the table is permissible as long as the Player is not in the hand. Sunglasses or glasses with built-in cameras as strictly prohibited.

20. Talking or texting on a cell phone while playing a live hand is prohibited.

21. No short buys are allowed; however, a player may add chips to his or her stack at any time between hands, up to but not exceeding the table maximum.

22. Players must protect their hands at all times.

23. A player will less than a big blind in their stack is considered felted and must rebuy to at least the table minimum to receive a hand. Players may not hold a seat with less than a big blind in their seat.

24. A player who fails to take reasonable means to protect their hand shall have no recourse if their hand becomes fouled or the Dealer accidentally collects the hand, and it is not identifiable or retrievable.

25. One player per hand and no one is allowed to play another player’s chips.

26. Smoking / E Cigarettes / Chewing Tobacco are not allowed in the Poker Room.

27. Cards speak for themselves. It is the responsibility of the dealer as well as all of the players to correctly read all tabled hands at showdown.

28. A bet and three raises will be allowed in each betting round in limit games. There will be unlimited amounts of raises allowed in no-limit and pot-limit games.

29. Players may only expose their hands with action pending during heads-up pots without any side pots.

30. A clock may be called on a player by any player who received cards that round or by a Poker Room supervisor. Players who have had reasonable time to act will be given a 30-second countdown. When the supervisor reaches zero, the hand will be dead. No exceptions.

31. HCT Poker Room is not responsible for chips or cash left on the table in a player’s absence but will make every effort to safely recover or secure any forgotten funds.

32. There will be no objects allowed on the table other than chips, cards or a reasonably sized “card protector.” Electronic devices are permitted on the rail but not on the felt.

33. Dinner Break: The first player away from the table is allowed a 60-minute dinner break as long as they have not already used a dinner break during the session. If they have already used a dinner break, they will have 20 minutes to return to their seat.

34. Extended Dinner Break: Any player wishing to take a dinner break of up to 90 minutes, may voluntarily cash out and have the option to stay at the top of that game’s wait list for the duration of the dinner break. Any player returning from a dinner break must buy-in for the total amount removed or the minimum buy-in, whichever is greater. Chip counts must be verified by a supervisor.

35. Second Man Walking: The second person away from the table will have 20-minutes to return to their seat or risk having their chips picked up and placed at the top of the waiting list.

36. Third Man Walking: The third person away from the table will have 5-minutes to return to their seat or risk having their chips picked up and placed at the top of the waiting list.

37. If a player wants to contest a pot, he or she must do so immediately. Once the first card is dealt for the next hand, all rights to the previous hand have been lost.

38. Criticism of the way other players have elected to play their hands or their general style of play is impolite and undesirable.

39. The house has the right to prohibit any two or more players from playing in the same game.

40. If a boxed card is found face up in the deck, they will be treated as a scrap of paper, placed in the discard pile and replaced with the next card off the deck. If more than two boxed cards are found during a deal, the hand will be declared a misdeal.

41. Throwing cards, name-calling and other such uncivilized behavior including abuse of other guests or employees will not be tolerated and will result in ejection.

42. Hollywood Toledo Poker Room reserves the right to remove any player from any game for any reason.

43. When a game breaks and not enough seats are available, the Players will draw cards to determine the seating order for available seats. The Supervisor will draw a card for an absent Player provided the player does not have a missed blind button.

44. The Poker Room uses a dead button and dead small blind system.

45. Players will have 5 minutes to claim their seat when their name is called or they are paged. If a player has not arrived within 5-minutes, they will be placed “on hold” for 15-minutes, which holds their spot in line at the top of the list. After 15 minutes if they have not checked back in, they will be removed from the list.

46. The Poker Room has a VIP program where players can qualify by playing at least 150 hours in a quarter. Any VIP guest “Tier 3” and above have priority seating and are placed the top of any live cash game waiting list when they arrive. This does not count for scheduled games until the game has started.

47. When players are transferring from an existing game to a new game and have more than the table maximum buy-in, they must wait until the new game has been running for 1 hour. All table change requests must be approved by a supervisor.

48. A change in the limit of any game must be approved by a supervisor. All active players must be present at the table and must agree in order to change the limit.

49. Anteing for another player is prohibited.

50. Players will be held responsible for protecting their hand at all times.

51. A wager is not binding until the chips are actually released into the pot, unless the player has made a verbal statement of action. A player may reach forward with a stack of chips in his/her hand and is not committed to making a raise to the full amount of chips in their hand. However, a player may not reach forward, with a stack in his/her hand and check. This will result in a minimum bet. A warning will be issued to anyone abusing the rule to angleshoot and gain information.

52. A player that says “raise” must clarify the amount or put all of the chips in the pot with one motion.

53. Management and Floor Supervisors reserve the right to make decisions which are in the best interest of the game. Management’s decisions are final.

54. Management reserves the right to alter or cancel rules, policies and promotions at any time.

55. Players are entitled to be informed of the pot size in pot limit games only.

56. If there is a discrepancy between a player’s verbal statement and the amount put into the pot, the bet will be corrected to the verbal statement.

57. In No Limit, players that raise must either announce the size of their bet or move the chips in one motion. Anything else may be considered a string bet. A bet of a single chip as the initial bettor without comment is considered to be the full amount of the chip allowed. However, a player acting on a previous bet with a larger denomination chip is calling the previous bet unless the player makes a verbal declaration to the raise.

58. A player who exposes his cards during the play in a multi-way pot may incur a penalty.

59. A player who makes or verbalizes action out of turn shall be held to that action when it is their turn, unless intervening action changes the action that the out of turn player is facing.

60. Certain games may offer “Bomb Pots” at Poker Management’s discretion. All players who wish to participate will post a pre-determined amount in which the dealer will collect and form the pot. There is no pre-flop action, the dealer will go immediately to the flop and begin the action. In the case players agree to a “Double Board” bomb pot, the dealer will burn and place out two flops, two turns and two rivers, with betting rounds in-between each as per standard game procedure. Players will play their two hole cards with each of the boards independently and dealers will adjust the pot based on the results, with split pots as a possibility. “Double Board” Bomb Pots will be raked at 10% up to $10. Promotional Fee will be $2, and promotions are only eligible on the first board.

61. Players may “run in twice” in no-limit games $2/$5 and above and also any Pot Limit Omaha game. The hand must be heads up with no side pots and both players must agree. The Poker Room will take an additional $4 rake on any hand that is ran twice. It is the players’ responsibility to speak up before any remaining cards are dealt. Dealers will not ask players if they want to run it twice.

62. Players may not agree to check a hand down when another player is all-in.

63. Players may not read a hand for another player at showdown before the hand has been tabled.

64. Telling other players to turn their hand face-up at showdown is prohibited. One player per hand.

65. When calling a bet, it is the Player’s responsibility to determine the correct amount of an opponent’s bet before calling, regardless of what is stated by others.

66. If additional time is needed to determine the outcome of a pot dispute, the pot or portion thereof may be set aside while the decision is pending.

67. Players are expected to conduct themselves in a respectable manner: language, dress, reasonable hygiene and behavior should be appropriate for ladies and gentlemen.

68. Cards speak. The dealer assists in reading hands, but players are responsible for holding onto their cards until a winner is declared. Although verbal declarations as to the contents of the hand are not binding, deliberately miscalling a hand with the intent of causing another player to discard a winning hand is unethical and may result in forfeiture of the pot or other penalties. A dealer may not kill a winning hand that was tabled face up by the player.

69. Players are expected to protect their hands, make their intentions clear, follow the action, act in turn with proper terminology and gestures, defend their right to act, keep cards visible and chips correctly stacked with higher denomination chips visible and identifiable at all times, follow proper etiquette, and to know and comply with Hollywood Toledo Poker Room Rules.

70. Management has the right to prohibit, re-position or otherwise restrict spectators.

71. Players not still in possession of their cards at showdown, or who have mucked face down without tabling their cards, lose any rights or privileges they may have to ask to see any hand.

72. Players shall not be entitled to see a called hand except in cases where there is a reasonable suspicion of collusion, in which case the Supervisor shall be called over for examination of the called hand.

1. A flat disk called the “Button” shall be used to indicate an imaginary dealer.

2. At the commencement of play, the dealer will deal each player one card face up to determine the placement of the button. Whoever receives the highest ranking card will start with the button.

3. The button will move around the table in a clockwise manner after each round of play.

4. The player to the immediate left of the button is required to place a Small Blind bet. The player to the immediate left of the Small Blind bet is required to place a Big Blind bet. The amount and number of Blind bets will be posted on a poker table sign.

5. Starting with the player to the immediate left of the button and continuing in a clockwise rotation around the Poker table, the dealer shall deal two rounds of cards face down to each player, the player with the button being the last player to receive a card each time.

6. Each player in turn, in a clockwise rotation starting with the player to the left of the Big Blind bet, has the option to Call, Raise or Fold. If no player has raised the bet, then the option to raise is given to both Blind bets. After the last player has responded to the most recent bet, the betting round shall be considered complete.

7. The Dealer will then proceed to deal three community cards (the Flop) face up in the center of the table.

8. The next betting round will begin with the option to bet or check belonging to the first player to the left of the button who has not folded. Each player may, in clockwise rotation, fold, call, raise the bet or, if preceding players have not made a bet, make an opening bet or check. The betting round shall be considered complete when each player has either folded or called in response to the most recent bet.

9. Upon completion of the betting round the dealer will again burn the top card of the deck and then deal a fourth community card (the Turn) face-up to the right of the Flop.

10. The next betting round will begin with the option to bet or check belonging to the first player to the left of the button who has not folded.

11. Upon completion of the betting round the dealer will again burn the top card of the deck and then deal a fifth community card (the River) face-up to the right of the Turn card.

12. The final betting round will begin with the option to check or bet belonging to the first player to the left of the button who has not folded.

13. If more than one player remains in the round of play after the final betting round has been completed, a showdown shall be used to determine the winner of the pot.

14. Each player remaining in the game will turn his cards over and the dealer will read the cards to determine the highest ranking five- card high poker hand using, in any combination their own two cards and the five community cards.

15. The winner of the pot will be the player with the highest- ranking five card high poker hand.

16. In the event of a tie the excess chip is awarded to the player to the left of the dealer button that is in the pot.
